  • 10 oz. of filtered water
  • A nightly herbal laxative or early morning salt water

The ease-out phase:

This is the last phase expected to get your body back to a point where your system can perform its normal functions without revolting at first. It is a reverse of the first stage and it lasts for 3 days too.

  • Day 1: orange juice
  • Day 2: soup broths and fruit and vegetable juices
  • Day 3: living foods

It is important to consult a medical doctor before going on this plan for the sake of your health. This requires a high level of effort, which not everyone can afford.

Recipes for a Lemonade Diet

Here is a lemonade cleansing diet recipe which takes about 7 minutes or less to prepare. Make sure it is in line with your doctor’s recommendations before going ahead with it.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice (approx ½ lemon)
  • 2 tbsp organic maple syrup
  • 1/10 tsp cayenne pepper, or to taste
  • 8 oz water, medium-hot (spring or purified)

Instructions:

  • Measure 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice into your large cup.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of maple syrup to the cup.
  • Add 1/10 teaspoon of cayenne pepper to the cup (or more to taste).
  • Mix and drink immediately.
  • Drink 6-12 glasses a day. Plus plain water all day long.
